We started as Common People and grew into something that needed a sharper name. The work never changed. We take the confusing, the half-built and the not-yet-existing, and turn it into learning and digital products people can actually use.
For years we have watched tools, courses and websites get built for some imagined average person who does not exist. So we design for the people that average leaves out, which, it turns out, is most of us. That means plain language, accessible by default, and choices that account for how people really read, focus and decide.
That care shows up in the rest of it too. AI used where it genuinely helps and kept well away from where it does not. Nothing shipped that we would not be happy to use ourselves.
We work with organisations of every size, from banks and universities to small teams who just need one thing done properly. Based in Stockport, a red-brick town under one of the great railway viaducts, with more charm than it lets on, and working with clients everywhere.
