You were told to think outside the box. We just live out here.

Outside of the Fox turns complicated ideas, systems and information into digital products, learning and websites people can actually use.

What we do

Four things. Done properly.

We create digital products, build the systems around them, help people find them, and make sure they work for everyone.

What we ship

Our own products, live and in progress.

Alongside client work, we build and run our own products. Here is what is live and what is coming next.

Victory.

A productivity tool built around the emotional moment, not the task list. 35 tools across the full working day, from arriving at your desk to closing your laptop. Built for neurodivergent people. Free tier live; paid from £5/month or £39/year. Institutional licensing coming soon.

Launching September

Neurodiversity Design Council

A UK design standards body for neuro-inclusion. Seven domains, 35 criteria, three tiers: Reviewed, Endorsed, Certified. Every assessor is neurodivergent, by requirement.

Launching October

The Signal

Weekly intelligence for people who sell training. New L&D hires, training tenders and buying signals scored and delivered every Monday, before your competitors see them.

Launching November

Baseline.

A leadership skills self-assessment grounded in published positive psychology. 24 behavioural markers across 8 skill areas, each rated on performance and energy, with a dedicated neurodivergent and hidden-disability pathway.

Launching September

NeuroMark

A neuro-inclusion assessment framework for organisations that want to be measured on more than good intentions. 7 domains and 35 criteria across three tiers, so a workplace can see where it genuinely stands and what to fix first. Developed alongside the Neurodiversity Design Council.

Launching November

Assessment Unpacking Generator

A free tool that turns a dense marking brief into a plain-English guide a student can actually follow. Built for the many learners who find assessment criteria impenetrable, and for the staff who would rather not rewrite them by hand. No login, works straight in the browser.

Launching September

Kalmtools

Small, sharp web tools that each do one job well. 25 free tools, from favicon and QR generators to a contrast checker, image compressor, PDF merge and JSON formatter. No adverts, no sign-up, and nothing uploaded to a server.

Sme.me

Structured groundwork for learning designers, on day one instead of week three. Answer a short brief and get objectives, key ideas, worked examples, misconceptions, assessment questions and scenarios, shaped by the design theory you choose. It replaces the waiting and the blank page, not the expert, so subject-expert time goes on checking rather than starting from scratch.

Launching October

Scaffold

Course design with the rigour built in. A guided workspace that takes a build from scope through to evaluation, holds the quality at every stage, and lets you plug in your own AI for the drafting. You leave with a sound course and every supporting document. The method keeps it honest, AI just does the typing.

Launching October

DAD Apprenticeship Studio

The Digital Apprenticeship Development framework as a working studio. Pick your standard, map every knowledge, skill and behaviour, and run all ten stages from start-up to continuous improvement. Version-aware and kept current with Skills England, so you are never designing against a standard that has changed.

Launching November

Scenario Databank

A growing bank of workplace-judgement scenarios you can brand and drop straight into Rise, a webpage or a PDF. Difficult conversations, ethics, leadership, EDI. No single right answer, and consequences that compound, so people practise the decision rather than recall the policy. Set your colours and names; the branching stays sealed.

Launching November
Clear thinking

We use AI. We also know when not to.

AI runs through a lot of what we build, for research, drafting, code and prototyping. We combine it with real research and twenty-six years of judgement, we interrogate it rather than trust it, and if something was built with AI, we say so.
